100KM Challenge

The 100KM Challenge is a non-competitive, overnight walk/run around the relay track at 100PLUS Promenade from 20th to 21st April 2024, 6pm – 9am. Join us as we journey through the three phases of Relay For Life where we CELEBRATE our cancer warriors, REMEMBER our loved ones lost and FIGHT BACK against the disease together as one community.

Challengers who complete the 100KM individually or with their teammates will be entitled to a 100KM Finisher T-shirt.

1. Register

Register as an Individual or form a Main Team of at least 2 members to conquer 100KM on the physical event day! Hit the minimum fundraising amount of $60 per participant to be qualified for RFL 2024.

The last date to register & qualify is by 7th April 2024, 2359hrs. However, we highly encourage all participants to register early and confirm your T-shirt size*, personal details necessary for the event by 15th March 2024. For the T-shirt size chart, please click here.

Individual Challengers Team Challengers
Individual Challengers will receive a tracker to track the distance conquered. Individual Challengers will be required to run using the designated relay track throughout the challenge. Main Team
100KM Team Challengers will receive one baton to track the distance conquered. Throughout the challenge, at least one team member must be on the relay track with the baton. There is no restriction on the number of members in a main team.
Sub-Team

Bigger teams can opt to create sub-teams. Sub-teams will be required to complete 100KM each, with a minimum of 3 qualified members.

After 31st March, sub-teams who do not meet the requirement will participate with the main team.
  • Only qualified participants (fundraised $60 and more per person) will be able to participate and receive the 100KM Finisher tee after the event.
  • Report to the 100KM Challenge booth at least 30 minutes before the event flag-off to collect your baton (for the team) or tracker (for individual).
  • At the end of the event (21st April 2024, 8:00AM), each team challenger or individual challenger that is present on the track with the baton/track or completed the 100KM Challenge will be honoured as our Relay Champion.
  • Each Relay Champion will receive an exclusive 100KM Finisher tee at the 100KM booth after the event.
*100KM Challenge will start after the Survivor Lap and there will be a mandatory hiatus for the Remember Ceremony (in the late evening). The 100KM Challenge will end before the closing ceremony. The total challenge period is about 11.5 hours.

2. Fundraise/Donate

After you have completed your registration, you can login to your profile and donate the amount or rally your friends & family to fundraise the minimum amount required or your preferred fundraising target!

Donations to the team will be equally shared amongst all members of the team at the point of donation.

Collect all 3 e-badges (Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back) to receive the full event entitlements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the venue outside National Stadium or inside National Stadium?
The event will be held outside National Stadium, at 100PLUS Promenade, an 888m sports running track.
Must all participants meet their minimum fundraising amount in order to participate on event day?
Yes. All participants must meet the minimum fundraising amount in order to participate on event day and receive the event entitlements.
What will happen if some of our team members are unable to achieve the minimum target amount of funds to be raised?
As a team, all members will need to achieve the total team target amount of donations to be raised. If the total team target is not reached, only individual team members who have achieved their minimum fundraising target will receive their entitlement and be allowed to participate in the 100KM Challenge.
We have formed a team. Can all our team members run on the running track at the same time?
No. To avoid overcrowding at the running track area, we do not recommend more than 1 person from the same team to be on the same track.
Are all team members required to be present at the end of the event to receive the 100KM Challenge event entitlements?
Not necessary. A representative can collect the entitlements at the end of the 100 km relay race on behalf of the whole team. Not all team members have to be present.
Are my family and friends allowed to come support me at the event?
Yes. If they are not participating in the 100KM Challenge, they will need to be registered under the My Fight Back Challenge category in order to enter the event venue.
